What the service is
nib takes material you give it — photographs, voice notes, typed text — and writes a product specification from it, as a Markdown file you can download. The whole of that is free. An account is required only at the download.
It does not write application code, and it is not meant to. What it produces is a document for you and your coding agent to work from.
Your material stays yours
You keep every right you have in what you upload. You grant us only what is needed to run the service on it: to store it, to send it to the models that read it, and to produce your spec. Nothing is used to train any model, and nothing is published or shared.
The spec is yours too. We claim no rights over the document nib writes for you. Use it, sell what you build from it, do as you like.
You are responsible for what you upload: that you are entitled to it, and that it is not unlawful, does not infringe anyone's rights, and does not contain other people's personal data you have no right to hand over.
Fair use
The free tier has daily limits and a bot check. Do not try to get around either — no scripting the flow, no farming sessions to multiply the allowance, no resale of free capacity. We can suspend an account or a session that does, and we would rather tell you why than do it quietly.
Buying a build pack
A build pack is a one-time purchase for one project. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel. The Starter pack is €7, taxes included in the price shown.
Stripe is the seller. We operate nib and build what you bought, but the sale itself is made by Stripe as merchant of record: Stripe takes the payment, calculates and remits the VAT wherever you are, and handles disputes and buyer support. Your purchase contract for the pack is therefore with Stripe, on Stripe's terms, and your card details are entered on Stripe's page and never reach us.
In practice, for anything about a payment — a refund, a charge you do not recognise, an invoice — write to us first anyway at hola@origenmodular.com. If a pack did not arrive, or arrived broken, that is ours to fix and we will sort it out rather than sending you round a triangle.
Delivery, and what that means for cancelling
A pack is digital content, built and delivered within minutes of payment. Under EU consumer law the right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content is lost once delivery has begun with your agreement — and buying a pack starts it immediately, which is the point of buying one.
That is the legal position, not our customer service policy. If a pack is not what was described, or the generation failed, tell us and we will fix it or refund it.
What we do not promise
The specification is written by language models. It will sometimes be wrong, thin in places, or confidently describe something you did not mean — which is exactly why the product shows you its reading before it writes anything and lets you correct every section afterwards.Read what it wrote before you build on it. We do not warrant that a spec is accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose, and it is not professional advice of any kind.
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of faults.
Limits of liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any right you have as a consumer under Spanish or EU law. Subject to that, our liability to you for anything connected with nib is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data.
Ending it
You can stop at any time; delete your projects from your dashboard and that is that. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we will give you what notice we reasonably can, so you can download your work.
Law and courts
Spanish law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim in the courts there. Otherwise the courts of Murcia, Spain have jurisdiction.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. A change never applies backwards to a pack you have already bought.
